Bee Tree Park Wedding Ceremonies – Bee Tree Park is a beautiful park in south St Louis County and is perfect for weddings. Picture having your wedding on an estate with a big house in the background and a beautiful fountain that is overlooking the Mississippi river. The Bee Tree Park Wedding Site, other wise known as the MANSION GARDEN SITE can be just the place to have an outdoor wedding ceremony that your friends and guest are sure to remember.
The land that is now Bee Tree Park in St Louis County was previously owned by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company founder, Eugene Nims, who built the mansion in 1929 and used it as a weekend retreat.
The property now called Bee Tree Park was purchased by St. Louis County in April 1986 with funds donated by the Open Space Foundation and matching Federal funds. Lindell Gordon and R. Walston Chubb were instrumental in raising the Open Space funds. Bee Tree Park features a memorial garden and fountain dedicated to Mr. Gordon, and an overlook dedicated to Mr. Chubb.
BEE TREE PARK MANSION GARDEN WEDDING SITE
Bee Tree Park Wedding Ceremonies – No vehicles are allowed on lawn at Bee Tree Park, park along the road to load/unload chairs etc. Remove all decorations, chairs, tables, trash, rose petals, anything you bring on the site must be removed. Make sure you are finished cleaning up by your allotted time as there may be another wedding scheduled right after yours
There is a switch in front of the fountain if you wish to turn it off during the ceremony because of the noise. If you turn it off, please turn it back on when you are finished
There is an electrical outlet located in front of the wall by the steps going up to the mansion patio between the bushes
We do not provide chairs. Check the Yellow Pages under Chair Rental.
The restroom is located lot next to the flagpole
Handicap parking is available directly in front of the site
The mansion in Bee Tree Park is not open to the public
