Okay so me and my boyfriend are getting married. We want our wedding to be small and cheap with just a few family members. because of his and my college tuition fees and other things we dont really have the money for a big wedding therefore he wants to have it at the court house.  I was ok with that but now im not,  I want to have it at a chapel anywhere BUT the court house. Busch Stadium – Portrait Sessions

Busch Stadium makes the perfect backdrop for portrait sessions of all types. We invite you to bring your own photographer and enjoy access to the red and green seats, home and visiting dugout areas and the field warning track. Thirty-minute sessions are available for groups of 10 or fewer at the rate of $250. One-hour sessions are priced at $425.

Please note that no groups of more than 30 people can be accommodated for photo sessions. Events taking place on a date that is a holiday are subject to additional charges. Photo reservations will not be confirmed until two weeks prior to the requested date; until that confirmation, all reservations are considered tentative.

Thinking about a Park Wedding?    St Louis has many beautiful parks and sites to choose from,   The Grand Basin in Forest Park, Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park, and the Boat House in Carondelet Park to name a few.   And a park wedding out in the open with all that nature has to offer can be quite beautiful.
When planning a St Louis park wedding there are things to consider permits, weather and set up.
PERMITS – St Louis Parks are public areas however if you are going to have a number of guests, and are going to be setting up chairs or decorations.  You want to make sure the spot you wish to have your wedding at is available to you on the exact time and date you wish to use it, you will need a permit.  Parks are public 1st come 1st serve.  And a permit always trumps, it is the only way to make sure you have your wedding on the desired date and time.  Sometimes in a Small Elopement Wedding where a couple is willing to stand around and wait to use a particular spot or can easily move to another location in the park to get married does so without a permit.  But rest assured many of the beautiful places in the park you think are perfect for your wedding, someone else is thinking the very same thing.  And even if you are there first and they pull out a permit…. They win!
WEATHER – Most of the time we can reasonably plan for the weather, but as we all know it can be a bit unpredictable. It is alway a good Idea to have a back up plan.  Whether to set a Tent, have a back up gazebo or shelter or to simply provide umbrella for the guest.  You need to have some sort of back up plan.  Many times if you are having a reception following the ceremony they may be able to provide you with a back up plan.  They may allow and even set up for a ceremony as a back up for you on your wedding day in the event of bad weather.
SET-UP – This is an important key to the wedding.  Parks and gardens offer much space and great beauty but we still need to accommodate the guest and any extras like maybe an isle runner, some columns, and arbor, tikki torches, garland, tulle, ribbon, lanterns and more…….

Most girls grow up watching Disney’s many “fairy tales”, dream romances and fairy tale weddings.   Snow White, Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty to just name a few.  And most every girl dreams of her perfect knight in shining armor, only to wake up to the real world we live in.  School, a Job, and life in general.
I think Fairy Tales were written and meant to be inspirational.  No matter what anyones circumstances may be,  we can all find something more, a better life, job, excitement and yes even true love.  All we have to be able to do, is dare to dream and then open our eyes to all the possibilities around us.
And when you meet that one true love, you are wanting to spend the rest of your life with, anything is possible “Dare to Dream”.   Having the perfect Fairy Tale wedding is alway possible on any budget with a little imagination and a little help from some friends.  The real truth to the fairy tale is that magic lies in the imagination
